Becoming Oswego celebrates PRIDE
Becoming was excited to march for the second time in the Aurora Pride Parade! We celebrate, affirm and LOVE our LGBTQIA+ siblings in Christ. We are ALL children of God and made in God's image. We joined other local faith communities for an ecumenical, interfaith Pride Celebration worship service at New England Congregational Church in Aurora at 10 am. After worship, around 10:30 am we headed to the parade to stand and march together.

Becoming Oswego marched in the 2024 and 2025 Aurora Pride Parade in June and handed out fun rainbow swag! We believe God loves all - no exceptions! We believe all people are made in God's image - no asterisks! We believe everyone is
a child of God, period!

Becoming RIC
Becoming Oswego is currently in the process of becoming an official Reconciled in Christ church (RIC) to make sure all people know they are affirmed, supported and welcomed here!
This summer we will be holding learning sessions, discussion opportunities and more. We will officially vote to become an RIC congregation this Fall.
